She moved into management early on in her career and has managed software development, QA and System Administration organizations. Angela started her technical recruiting career thirteen years ago. She is very familiar with the challenges in hiring the best candidates both as a recruiter and a hiring manager. She is also well aware of the importance of dealing with a knowledgeable and professional recruiter. Dermot Connell - ( CTO )

Dermot Connell has a BS Degree in Computer Science from University College Dublin, Ireland. He has had a distinguished technology career having first started out as a software developer in the field of operating systems development. Over a 15 year period Dermot progressed through technology management ranks to the executive ranks. He has managed a variety of technology teams across the full lifecycle of software product development. His development experience ranges from operating systems to packaged software and the Web. His experiences across these domains have allowed him to develop a detailed understanding of the technologies being used by our clients and the profile and characteristics of the key people needed in order to enable our client’s success. He has held positions with a number of companies including Peerless Systems, Goto.com (now Yahoo Search Marketing) and IBM.

Soraya Haroonian (Sr. Technical Recruiter)

Soraya Haroonian has a BS degree in Computer Science from N.J.I.T.  She has had a great technology career as a software engineer, software developer, Sr. quality assurance engineer as well as Sr. Internet specialist.  She has held various consulting jobs before joining Rhino-recruiting and has worked for reputable companies such as Form & Substance Inc., CACI Inc., Retix, Amber solutions and Motion Pictures of America.  Soraya is compassionate and exceptionally competent and has had great success in finding perfect candidates for Rhino Recruiting clients.

Karen Barber (Sr. Technical Recruiter)

Karen has almost 20 years of experience as a recruiter in the sphere of web based technology. Prior to joining Rhino Recruiting, she worked in staffing and recruiting for digital agencies, Guidance Solutions and Aydus Consulting. She also has experience working for a technical recruiting company, Technical Connections. These positions, combined with her 10 year career as a Programmer and Technical Project Manager at Hughes Aircraft Company, help her better understand the design and development life cycle and the roles technical people play at work. These insights have proven to be extremely useful when identifying talented Technology candidates.

Karen earned her degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a Venice, CA native and lives there with her family.
