Director, Project Management – International

Company is a leading entertainment technology company, bringing the best in digital video direct to consumers on the screens that they love most. The first software-based OTT TV platform, We have successfully combined live TV and video-on-demand into one, easy-to-use experience that is free to access, stream and use. We have developed a brand-new way for consumers to enjoy the television they love, for content owners to stream live or on-demand content right into their fans’ households and for advertisers to monetize in the rapidly growing Connected Device space. Our product offering is available in the U.S. and Canada on multiple streaming platforms including LG, Vizio, Hisense, Panasonic and Samsung Smart TVs, Roku and mobile devices, including the Metro by T-Mobile “Metro Play” service.

We looking for a highly motivated Director of Project Management to join our exceptional product team. This individual will be responsible for complete ownership of our international expansion initiative to six (6) countries in 2019 (with more to come). This role will be the main liaison with our partner LGE, overseeing process, implementation and delivery of new product launches and existing platform enhancements in international territories.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute strategy for natively-built video distribution applications on LG and the owned and operated platform(s).
• Main liaison with LGE HQ in Korea and relevant subsidiaries around the world.
• Work closely with internal and external development teams to keep projects on-track and on-budget.
• Assist with managing Content portfolio from US-based content partners as well as localized content from global content providers.
• Collaborate with Advertising and Monetization teams to include product features that bolster the sales organizations expanding initiatives.


Qualifications, Essential Skills and Characteristics:

• 5-7 years of Project Management experience (preferably within entertainment, technology or digital media)
• Computer Science, business degree or equivalent experience
• Exceptional client services skills, with multiple years experience managing large, complex external teams
• International app delivery experience (especially as it relates to GDPR privacy regulations)
• Proven experience/track record of delivery in an agile product or digital media role
• Self-motivated and highly focused with a preference for a fast-paced environment and getting things done
• Hands on and fully capable of contributing individually across all required projects
• Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
• Attention to detail
• Passionate technologist
• Heavy Media Consumer that loves TV, quality content and a terrific viewing experience
• Bi- or Multi-lingual a plus.

We are also available on several other smart TV brands such as Samsung and Funai Electric Co., Ltd. who manufactures and sells Magnavox, Philips and Sanyo in North America as well as iOS, Android, and set top boxes such as Layer3 TV and Roku devices.
